Gold pinballs come in two distinct metal formulations. 

Chrome Vanadium Steel

Chrome Vanadium Steel is a highly polished, chrome-like pinball which holds up better to dings and scratches. The downside of this formulation is that the balls have a greater propensity to become magnetized in games with heavy magnet use. All balls will eventually become magnetized in games with heavy magnet use, it's the nature of steel. If you have a lot of games with magnets you can purchase a demagnetizing wand like this one. Vanadium steel is harder than carbon steel due to the vanadium content. 

Carbon Steel

Carbon Steel is another great choice for pinball games. You'll see these sold in the classic chrome color as a ball which deters magnetization by some suppliers. The downside of carbon steel is that it is slightly more susceptible to dings than chrome vanadium steel. All pinballs will get dings and dents due to the nature of their use. If you have a game with strong magnets (anything with a magnet flipper, magnet hold, etc) these are the balls for you.

As with any steel ball these may become magnetized over time. We suggest using a degaussing wand to demagnetize them like this one. Due to the consumable nature of the balls we can not accept returns. 

International Shipping

Due to the weight of the balls, anything over 15 balls or so can not be shipped USPS First Class International. This makes the cheapest option USPS Priority International which seems to start around $60 and with 20 or more balls jumps up to $130-170. In essence, a few balls internationally will have a correct shipping amount but our system does not know about the package weight limits so pricing on larger orders will be off by a large margin.
